What is [RUNTO]?

Among the Let's Try Workshops, the exercise-related events are called RUNTO .

This is an activity that aims to expand possibilities through running. It was started with the hope that it will provide a place where children with developmental concerns and their parents can enjoy play and exercise in safety, and that it will also expand various possibilities.

By participating in activities that would normally be enjoyable with able-bodied children, we hope to avoid an environment where children with disabilities are unable to enjoy themselves in the way they should, or where parents have to be considerate of other children. Rather than an environment where children with disabilities can play together freely, with a mutual understanding that even if something happens, they can participate in their own way and enjoy themselves without worrying about others. The group is supported by staff members who are currently working as elementary and junior high school teachers, staff who have been teaching gymnastics to children for over 10 years, and students studying special needs education. We will continue to create places and times where children with disabilities can play and exercise in a variety of ways.

Let's all enjoy RUNTO.
